3rd International Workshop on Intelligent Aerial and Spaceborne Systems for 6G (6G-SAGA) at PIMRC 2026 “AI-Native SAGIN for Indoor, Personal, and Mobile Radio Communications”
A workshop organized in conjunction with IEEE PIMRC 2026, Singapore

Abstract

This workshop brings together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the emerging integration of Space-Air-Ground Integrated Networks (SAGIN) with indoor, personal, and mobility-centric communication systems, a frontier area at the heart of 6G development. As satellite mega-constellations, UAV/HAPS platforms, indoor THz/VLC systems, and AI-native network intelligence rapidly converge, new opportunities arise for enabling seamless global coverage, high-precision indoor sensing, ubiquitous connectivity, and resilient mobility support. These challenges, combined with the growing demand for indoor ISAC, hybrid RF/optical systems, and multi-orbit NTN coordination, make this workshop timely, relevant, and closely aligned with the core themes of the flagship IEEE PIMRC.

Topics of Interest include, but are not limited to:

  • AI-native SAGIN architectures for seamless indoor–outdoor mobility
  • Multi-agent, LLM-augmented, and autonomous resource management for NTN
  • Multi-orbit LEO/MEO/GEO NTN convergence for indoor and personal networks
  • ISAC for indoor localization, sensing, mapping, and motion tracking
  • Near-field MIMO, ultra-massive MIMO, holographic surfaces, and THz communication
  • Hybrid RF/THz/VLC/LiFi/OWC/FSO communication for indoor high-precision services
  • UAV/HAPS-assisted indoor–outdoor access continuity and 3D mobility support
  • RIS and metasurface-based coverage enhancement for satellite-to-indoor links
  • Fluid antenna systems and body-centric communications for mobility-dense environments
  • Digital twins for mobility automation, link prediction, and indoor network optimization
  • Edge-native intelligence for low-latency SAGIN–indoor coordination
  • Federated learning and distributed AI across space–air–ground–indoor systems
  • MAC and cross-layer design for heterogeneous SAGIN–indoor networks
  • Quantum-enabled communication, QKD security, and hybrid quantum-classical sensing
  • Zero-trust architectures and privacy-preserving indoor mobility systems
  • Energy-efficient NTN–indoor communications for IoT, wearables, and robots
