Abstract

The 6G-SAGA workshop invites original research papers and visionary contributions that explore the integration of intelligent aerial and spaceborne systems into the architecture of 6G networks. As non-terrestrial platforms - including satellites, UAVs, high-altitude platforms (HAPS), and emerging infrastructures such as space elevators - become vital components of future wireless systems, this workshop provides a timely forum to address their role in enabling sustainable, AI-native, globally connected and sustainable networks. We welcome submissions from academia, industry, and government institutions that address theoretical foundations, practical implementations, and emerging applications in the following areas:

Topics of Interest include, but are not limited to:

  • AI-native architectures for SAGIN and Beyond-SAGIN systems
  • Joint communication, computing, and sensing (3CS) in aerial/spaceborne networks
  • Edge intelligence and federated learning in non-terrestrial environments
  • UAV/HAPS-assisted dynamic network slicing and orchestration
  • Satellite-terrestrial interoperability and multi-orbit coordination
  • Spectrum sharing and interference mitigation in NTNs
  • AI and Agent AI for autonomous mission planning and aerial swarm systems
  • Security and privacy in multi-layered aerial and space networks
  • Experimental testbeds and real-world deployments for aerial/space 6G
  • Optical wireless communications (OWC) and free-space optics (FSO) for NTNs
  • Quantum communication and quantum key distribution (QKD) in spaceborne systems
  • Space elevator-enabled communication infrastructures for ultra-long-range connectivity
  • Sustainable IoT and energy-efficient protocols for aerial and spaceborne platforms
  • Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) for NTN-based smart environments
  • AI-enhanced edge orchestration and real-time decision-making in NTNs
